Normally we have to wait longer in Europe before a movie comes to the theatres, but they must know that we can’t wait to see the new Winnie the Pooh movie in theatres. So Winnie the Pooh 2011 came to the theatres in The Netherlands on April 20th and in the UK, France and Germany even a week sooner. In the USA you have to wait untill July 15th. But it is absolutely worth waiting for!
I went to the theatre yesterday with my 5 year old daughter. We both loved the movie. It was so lovely and so great to see Pooh again on the big screen.
During an ordinary day in Hundred Acre Wood, Winnie the Pooh sets out to find some honey. Misinterpreting a note from Christopher Robin, Pooh convinces Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and Eeyore that their young friend has been captured by a creature named “Backson” and they set out to save him.
